Default about removing Zaino

Hi I have applied 2 layers of Z5 and 3 layers of Z2 last month. Right now only did I realize I only had a few section of the car clayed (it was 5-months-old black Z back then) and I know you guys are going to say "paint prep is everything". So I am thinking about removing my Zaino and reclay the entire car. Making sure the paint is perfect.

The question is how do you remove it completely?

thanks a lot

Sal says Dawn and clay don't remove Zaino and I know that I have clayed the car (not with Dawn however) and it didn't remove my Zaino.

You may try washing with Dawn and then claying the car with a lube solution of Dawn and water. This may be all that you need.

I have heard that applying alcohol (not the drinking kind) to the car removes Zaino. I have never done this however.

You can e-mail Sal and he will reply personally.

You do not have to remove any Zaino at all, just clay the car as is and the clay will pull up and out any paint contamination that is present on the surface, kinda like a razor pulls up and cuts the beard on ones face and then re Zaino the areas you clayed.......

Denatured alcohol rub down is an easy way to remove Zaino or any durable wax or polish, or use 3M Wax and Grease remover....

There shouldn't BE any contamination underneath your Zaino if you did the proper paint prep.

Sal likens the way the clay pulls out bad stuff from the polymer to the way you pull out a splinter sticking out of your skin just a tiny bit.

Don't let it sit overnight if you use ZFX. You take it off right away with the ZFX. Try to buff it out again with the Z-6. You'll have to rub pretty hard to get rid of the streaks but they should come out.

If you want to let it sit overnight, don't use the ZFX.

Bonz, I've found when i'm getting ready to clean off the polish after a waxing that using the Zaino Spray and something to wipe it off with does wonders for getting rid of any streaks that are left behind.
