Default Some *** keyed my car?

I have a key scratch about a foot long. ANyone think I can get it out using a pc and meguiars scratch X. It is a pretty fine scratch so I think I might be able to get it out.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. If you guys could give me some step by step instructions on how to use the PC in conjunction with scratch X I would appreciate it greatly.

Thanks in advance

Check out

http://www.autopia.org

You find a lot of good info there on 1) scratch removal 2) PC usage.

Usually keying requires a repaint, if you can hang your finger nail in the scratch you will never be able to buff until you can no longer see the damage. I had someone key my truck all down the side first of this year, nice cars and finely detailed vehicles for some reason are a magnet to A$$holes...........

I found an aftermarket wing that I am just going cover the scratch with. It should cover the scratch completely. What do you guys think of this idea?

Don't get an aftermarket wing to hide a scratch unless that was the wing you were dreaming about and it happens that it casually covers the scrath. You better get the paint job done, then get whatever body kit you like best.

I haven't dreamed about getting a wing but this is the one I like the best it is just the factory oem wing. I think it is very clean looking and it will cover the scratch perfectly. I will take that into account though.

Thanks
