I'm instructing at 4 track events in the next couple of months, so if you need some more testing I will be happy to send you the $$$ when you get some made.
Looks like a good product thus far, the obvious next question has to be will you produce a version in twill carbon? I see cincity designs have something but at 1500 bucks I think they're a tad pricy.

My intention for this product was to produce a affordable solution for the track in a attempt to leave the blue tape at home and still look kinda cool. IMO anything carbon fiber ( resin type )...in the front of the car will get demolished and chipped up and quickly lose its sleek appearance. W/ the addition of CF..I think it would raise the costs too high causing an actuall loss in interest venturing away from my initial game plan. Who knows..maybe in the future i might make a set that is more for a show type enviorment but for this 1st production round this is how they will be.

Yeah, carbon fiber is better looking, but I agree that the abs plastic is more durable. I just pulled my rear diffuser last night for a suspension change and saw where it has already been beat up.
These are covers to put ON the headlights, not to replace them, but I'd be willing to be you could fabricate some brackets to hold these in the right position if you removed the headlights.
Headlights might way a pound or two?

Removing the front bumper is possible..but not fun by any means...these are being designed to be slip on covers that can be installed in under 5min....There would be nothing worse in my mind after an exhausting day at the track to know
that you have to take the bumper off again to take these things off before you drive home.

A bracket is in the works..just a little pain in *** now since there is an issue to keep a asthetic attractiveness to it. If your still going to run your Z at night, I'd def recommend these slip on covers.

****** the bumper and take off four mounting bolts per headlight. The harness plug is a little on the tougher side, but removal otherwise is cake.

maybe you should put up an announcement for these in the motorsports section...spread the word.
Can't wait for a shot at them
