Got a 12 second timeslip NA!!
Don't have any pics of my latest street wheels, but here's a few with the FN01RC's I use at Texas World Speedway, a pic of the old OZ monte carlos and an old pic of my track set up.
Not sure if you're joking or not, but what do you consider to be rice on the 300? 95% of the mods are on there for a purpose. Purpose being getting around a racetrack as fast as possible and secondly the 1/4 mile.
The stang's not busted! I do need to take it the track and see what it will run though. I bought it as a daily driver after I installed the coilovers on the z32. Need to sell it now that I have the 350. Paying to keep 3 cars on the road is killing me.

sfarrah: reg 3.9EVO, if you do Technos L-SPEC reflash you won't have to shift into 5th in 1/4. You get almost stock top gear speed at 7200rpm with EVO. Oh... wait... you may have to shift if you get high-enough trap speed

Hmm, I didn't see how much Nos youre running. Can you let us know how much of a shot your running. Thats hellllla fast for NA. I'd have to see it to believe it. Not trying to take it from ya but just seems incredile to run that fast.

"Nos your running yo!!!! Helllllla Fassssst"? You're an *** clown.
Imitate some more Fast and Furious scripts.
He posted the timeslip, are these 350z's that slow?

barthelb, sorry to tell you, but there is no nitrous used on this car. It's 100% all motor and other forum members have seen the car in person and have witnessed the 12 second timeslip posted at the beginning of this thread. Doubt all you want, but this engine does have potential if set up properly.
I had no idea I would have gotten the car in the 12's as fast as I did. Luckily the mods we've made have been effective, ET's have dropped and MPH has increased. I think my 60ft/launches and the new intake/exhaust setup (given my traps went from 102mph to 106mph, that combo seems to work well) was what made the difference.
I went two fridays ago hoping to run even faster but the closest I came was 13.0236@106.18 with a 1.8538 60 ft. A better launch and I would have most likely beaten my 12.98 run. The half tank of gas probably didn't help either.
If you want to see it to believe it, come on down to San Antonio raceway and you can either line up against me or watch from the stands. Either way i'll buy you beer for driving all that way just to be proven wrong.

sfarrah,
I have two questions for you
the SPL intake tube, does it have a PCV valve?
is the varis intake duct symetrical? Like if I wanted to put one on each side of the front bumper...
thanks, nice timres!

sentry65: The SPL intake tube has the hose connection for the PCV hose, it is fairly similar to the Injen tube except the Jet Hot coating (which I think is a damn good idea) to reduce heat soak/transfer and the much nicer Samco couplers.
The varis duct is not symmetrical, and it's not possible to flip it over to put on the other side of the bumper.
I like the look of it on the one side, but it's all personal preference. I need to take some better pics of it.
hndumafia: not sure what i'd run on street tires. My street wheels (soon to be sold Fondmetal 9x's) are pretty heavy, but maybe someday if I get to the track early enough I can try a few runs before I slap on the ET Streets. I would guess my mph would be the same if not higher, but I haven't launched on street tires in ages so my ET would most likely be a couple tenths slower.

seriously, look at my signature for all you non-believers. If I can do that with a freaking JWT pop-charger and some PS2's, for sure he can do it with ET slicks and all that other stuff. And mine is a touring model (heaviest of all)), fully loaded and I don't remove anything to lose weight (I even have tools in the glove box, CD's in the panels behind the seats, etc.).
I do try to have less than 1/2 tank of gas.
Congrats on the 12's bro.
