I was talking about you to a friend of mine... telling him how a Z ran a 12.9 NA on street legal tires. And we got to thinking what other street v6 NA car could even come close to that. We were at the track last week and the F bodies were having problems getting into the 12's and those were V8's. I can't think of any car that has a v6 that could hit 12's w/o boost... i didn't think the Z could do it to be honest... amazing run.

Good dyno numbers you say? Here you go....My car, 100% normally aspirated...

Just givin' you a hard time....."What are good dyno numbers" is a hard question to answer because it depends on the car.

No kidding! It's been a long time since I've seen this thread active. Kind of a coincidence as I just beat my best time last friday night with a 12.8@107.8mph.

Nearly. They were running a .500 tree that night. Jumped the gun just a little bit.

Don't want to risk blowing the motor just yet-I've heard too many horror stories over the years. Plus, if I buy mods I want the power there all the time-I'd hate to have to fill the bottle constantly. Can't say I haven't been tempted at times though-it certainly is the cheapest hp you can buy.

I want to make sure that the HP gains i get are reliable. I take the car to the road courses all the time and it sees high rpm abuse for extended periods of time. I want to make sure the power gains don't cause any catastrophic failures and so far I've been very happy with my setup.
