Default Drag Radial Wheel Size

What is a good setup to run? Can I run 18" up front and 16" for drag radials in the rear. I don't know how the different wheel sizes effects everything. Some help please...

My friend is currently using 15 inch wheels on the rears with ET Streets. He has no problem clearing the brakes on his, however they will not fit on my car due to the Track model brakes.

18's front and 16's rear will work fine-i've used that setup before. the lighter the wheel the better. i use stock rear z32 16x8.5 wheels with 26x11.5x16 mt et streets.

I think you can use the stock 17" for track model...

I've never tried fitting the z32 rear wheels on a track model so i can't say for sure. Ideally you'll get the smallest diameter wheel that will fit as the tire you'll go with will have more flex in the sidewall which will give you better bite off the line.

Just buy a set of weld racing wheels for the back. Pick up some 15s and street ETs. You will regret going with DRs down the road becuase you will eventually wanna just get street ETs. Ive heard this from countless other poeple at the track.

if you go with a 15x8, you will need 5.5" backspace. If you go 15x10, you will need a 6.5" backspace... both wheels come out to about a 25mm offset... and obvioulsy a 5x4.5 bolt pattern...

Yes, 16" will fit on track model.

Sfarrah, I thought the Z32 had 8" on the rears and 7.5 front?
