It only had headers, 3.90 gears, and the aforementioned rubber. Not bad.

Looks like it also had the torque management elimination unit as well.

I think once folks get the engine management really sorted out we'll see some fast near stock Vette's and 05 GTO's out there.

A lot of new higher powered vehicles are coming with ECU programs that significantly limit throttle/power under certain conditions. Timing is rolled back, the throttle may be shut why trying to do a burnout or powershift for example.

The 2005 Mustang GT suffers from this and the LS2 equipted cars do as well. From what I've seen folks are picking up a few tenths in the 1/4 mile on the new Mustangs just by reflashing this torque managment out of the ECU program.

Chances are that the new Z06s are going to be in the 10s with bolt-ons and proper tires. Damn.

I love the new Corvette!

I'll pass on a $70K Z06, especially since it won't take much to make the base version insanely fast.

My dad just got his C6 in and we have a cold air and exhaust waiting to go in. I have got to show him that video. I also have to look into that torque thing for him.

I would't call that lightly modded.. that's medium modded

lightly modded is probably with filter, exhaust, maybe pulley, etc..

pretty decent 1/4mile time though.
