Default First time track results! Shocking 5AT numbers

With stock tires and my very very first time ever at the track, I hustled my 5AT to a 13.847@101.01 and a 13.891@101.14!

I'll have video of the 13.847 tomorrow.

edit: Bone stock, full spare and jack...best time was my 2nd ever run at a 1/4 mile.

Great times man! Im jealous of people at low elevation. My slightly modded 5AT only runs 14.3 because Im at 3000ft above sea level.

No it's not. Here is a quicker time from 1st of October 2004. Totaly stock automatic 350Z:

R/T 60' MPH ET
.695 2.095 100.77 13.816

You can read the dertails here:
https://my350z.com/forum/showpost.ph...8&postcount=47

ps. On that day Lionking did 2 other runs which were still quicker than the time mentioned in this thread.

Not to knock him or anything, but there's only that one time listed that beats it(look on the first line of this thread, not the 2nd). He had less than a 1/4 tank and dropped his tires to 25...consider my car driven right from the dealer lot to the track...nothing was done to it.

5AT-5 speed automatic transmission. BTW Dom, it doesnt matter if he was 1/4 tank and lowered his tire pressure, he is still stock, and he beat your time. So your 2nd place, if you think you can do better, next time take out your spare/jack and run less gas and see if you can beat it....

I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I read the update!

Too funny.

That record is close, so you have a good chance of beating it.

BTW, don't forget to post your video, and a time slip if you have it, that way nobody will challenge it.

Car #105 Obviously...

5017 was a modded SRT-4
2704 was a modded Fox Body

As you can see the 2 13.8's were minutes apart, my next run was about 2 and a half hours later...everything was cold, my tranny, my tires....

Nice job ! I always wanted to take my Z's to ATCO, but am too old and too afraid I'm going to make a fool of myself. I'm glad to see some actual 5AT number from the track for a change. I did a 14.89 with a Gtech/Pro, but I know that most people don't consider it the same as an actual track run. BTW, where in Wash. Twnshp are you from ? I'm from West Dept. Twnshp.
