After a horror day I finally made it to Irwindale and staged at 8 pm allowing me only to do 2 runs.
I have to completely relearn how to launch and shift now with all that power.
Again I didn't get a decent burnout (I need a fn line lock).
First run I launced too hard and shifted too fast into second and spun the tires badly and did quite a dance at the track (scary as hell) but I got the car under control and finally hooked up and did a 8.4 at 92.75 mph

Next run I babied the car too much resulting in a 2.3 60' foot (LOL) but I did a 8.33 at 92.25 mph.
So the car has definetely hella power and once I get the launches down it'll be easily in the 7's

my second run I raced my buddy's STI and fell asleep at the tree (his .533 against my 1.050 oops). He was ahead of me by about 6 cars and I almost passed him at the finish line, 1/4 and his *** would have been mine
We have a video of that it looks like a rocket is flying by, lol. I post it once it get a copy

 

Nice job, you have a lot of improvement to make. Like you said you'll be 7's 1/8 when you get the launch and shift points down. Again nice job, I cant imagine what my first time out on all my power will be like....

 

I am seriously considering a line lock too...makes things SO much easier...
