Laww traps 114 (116 best) with 390whp. You have over 440rwhp what do you trap? Must be really hard putting all the TQ down on street tires, I probobly wouldnt even bother and just run slicks

I think you should mention what size as well, because mister 500+whp BigBri is using some small 275's that I can barely catch traction with and I have a popcharger, LOL.

My first gear burns out almost all the gear, well hops (should I give more gas?) and I get a big burn second gear....It was about 83-81 degrees last night, and my best time was a 14.059 at 101.388, backed it up with a 14.033 at 100.885, I kept ****ing forgetting to powershift second, I was powershifting third and fourth and get a nice trip of the tires in third gear even, but I KEPT forgetting second powershift, I think if I would have done a 4th fun at night when it was a little cooler, temp dropped to probably low 70's, I could have been 13.9@101. Oh well, next week....I got Bri's runs on tape, Ill post later. Funny note, a nice z06 ran a 14.3 last night, and a neon SRT4 blew something out of his motor, looked like a seal or something...

Jeeze, you are probably going to need to get your fenders rolled, they already did your **Rear bumper, so I guess its not that big of a deal. I know we can fit 295's on 10.5, 305 should fit.....someone else can chime in about that though.

Yeah I was, I was hella mad,

We will go either next week, or week after with some nice cool weather, I think I want to go get some 285's drag radials, maybe the BFG drags that I could still use on the street. I was hella happy with the trap, but I would have hit 13's if I ****ING powershifted into second, the .33 seconds could have been made up from powershifting, when I was going into second, I actually let off the gas, shifted then got back on it.....3 times I forgot to pull an Alberto move, Never lift to shift. GRR. Oh well, I was still happy.

You want me to post the 12.8 at 118? Also, I might have a lender for that deal of yours, land purchase, I left you a VM, call me!

When i was at 440/403 my highest trap was 116.XX Last night we went to the track, at 90degrees i was having problems. Couldn't hook up. My first run I mis shifted twice and ran a 13.8 @ 108 or something then I burned 1 & 2nd on the 2nd run and ran a 12.6 @113. Some jackass hit a power pole on the freeway and killed power to the raceway. We all have a raincheck for the next drag event.

Laww must be using a different Tire size or have the auto Final Drive to trap that high. Or it was a cool night and he got a good run in with the cooler air. That is a high trap.

With that much power you need to get off the street tires at the track. Buy some cheap 18's throw some BFG DR 265/40's on there and you can get a 1.77 if not better. That's my best 60ft so far. Your trap indicates you got some major power. Someone said every tenth you reduce in the 60ft is equal to 2 or 3 tenths in the ET.

Doesn't SAC have any SAT test & Tunes?

Also I just threw some 285's on a 9.5 and they don't really buldge so a 305 on a 10.5, theoretically should look the same. Fenders are our enemies tho. If I correct my camber, it will rub.

Ehh not that good if you ask me. Stock, also with a 2.0 60ft on Crapenza's I went 13.77 @ 101.4 at an average track. If I had gone to Cecil 13.5 easy, but shoulda, woulda, coulda, I didnt. IMO at an average track at sea level 14.XX is crap. I went 13.80 @ 100.8 my first run ever with a crappy 2.1 60ft....actually I have never run in the 14's so...

Bigbri- 305's ?! That is really wide, try some DR's in 275 sizes, Im pretty sure they make 18" DR's in 275, that will help dramatically. What is your rear offset? You may not even be able to run a 305, I had to roll the fenders with a 285 and a +22 offset.

consider not everyone is powershifting.

I did 13.9@102 bone stock without powershifting and 2.18 60ft
I now do 13.8@104.8 -105.2 without powershifting with my mods (and ~2.3 60ft on crappy KDW tires)

14.1@99 bone stock without powershifting is average... but not crap

Thats your opinion, this is mine. 14's in a 6mt is not good. Even without powershifting 13.8-13.9 all day with a 2.0 60ft, hes .2-.3 behind that with the same launch so that would mean his shifting is slacking some. I was too harsh I shouldnt have said it is crap, but rather by my own high standards nothing to brag about....

The best 60 foot I got last night was a 2.1, that was my 14.033 run at 100.8, I dont know what it is, maybe these Dunlops arent that good, but I was burning out pretty good 1st gear, whats a good launch technique.....? Next week cooler weather, and I wont forget to powershift second, I should be 13's.
