Default Horrible times at track!

I went to the track yesterday, and got horrible times. The last time I went to the track I got a 14.2 stock. Now I have the 350evo final drive, Nismo wheels, clutch and flywheel, and I got even worse times. Granted Its been over 2 years since I was last at the track. Anyways I will post my time slips. I only got 2 runs in. First run, had a horrible start, and had wheel hop through first and second gear. Second run, I had a slow start. I need to go to the track again before it closes! I can't believe I got smoked by a SRT4 the first run. So dissapointed!

First Run ----- Second Run

R/T...----- .550 ----- .377
60'... ----- 2.531 ----- 2.210
330... ----- 6.473 ----- 6.120
1/8... ----- 9.646 ----- 9.295
mph.. ----- 78.10 ----- 77.97
1000.. ----- 12.384 ----- 12.033
1/4 ----- 14.654 ----- 14.306
mph.. ----- 99.84 ----- 99.33

SRT's run between 14.1 and 13.8 stock. It's not really a terrible thing to loose to one. They are really light, 2970 pounds and have turbos. I outran one last night that was pushing 18 #'s of boost. But, only by .03.

SRT's are fast little ****'s. I've seen some go 8.1 in the 1/8 mile.

that means you're either a really good driver or the others suck badly

I always look at several key numbers such as one-eight and quarter mile mph. The difference that you're showing is 20 mph indicating good shifting technique. Its obvious that 60-foot time can use some improvement. With practice, you're driving a better than 14.1 second Z.

Recommendation: ignore the car in the other lane.

Yeah don't worry about the car in the other lane. What was the density altitude at the track?
