Cool Race a mod. Yahama R6 on the way to Dragstrip Lastnight!

On the way to the track I had two friends rolling down. One in a 03' Maxima and one on a Yahama R6. I gave it a couple of shots to see what my Z can do against this mod. R6. I tried a 45mph roll on 3 horn honks and I jump exactly on the third honk. He reeled me in and pass me like I had nothing. Probably putting like 2 bus lenghts on me up to 120 when I shut it down. I was like damn I heard we can mess with 600cc but there's no shot down low against this thing. As we got on the highway I did 1 fly-by to get a jump on him to see what I can do up top. I had about 1 maybe 1.5 bus lengths on him. Damn guess what you know as soon as we hit 135+ I even out the acceleration of this R6 and he came back and pass me. I was exactly on his tail end when our speed even out. Then when I hit 138 - 142+ still in 5th gear I actually pull back in front and started pulling away from this bike. I shift into 6th at 145 analoge and I was actually pulling away on this bike all the way up to 159. End result I put about maybe 2-3 car lengths on this R6 as soon as we hit traffic. The 2nd time on the way back from the track. He gave me like 2 maybe 3 bus lengths from like 110 and he reeled himself back to about 1 car length from me as I can see him in my side mirror. Then as soon as I hit 143 I started to pull again. He admits that my Z is strong up top.

*My girl was riding with my homeboy in the maxima and I have no idea what she recorded yet. But as soon was I get off work I'll take a look and see if there's anything worth posting. Everytime I look back the maxima was far back like over 10 bus lengths, so I don't know how good of a quality the recording will be.*

At the dragstrip:

1st run was against a silver honda prelude 95 body style. I thought to myself Imma take it easy and guess what. I had the shock of my life. This fool pulled on me in second gear and beat me to the 1/8th. Come to find out this dude had a turbo and nos. Yes he was running both to beat me. I didn't give it my best launch either and it was also my first run. I got to the drag a pretty late. I believe I ran like a high 9.4 pulling a 2.3 60' ft. and got beat by like 2 car lengths. I guess that's what I get for thinking I can take it easy on this four banger. Shame on me

2nd run was against a yellow SRT-4. He told me he seen me race the prelude and told me he had in it because they are buddies. So, that's how I got the details to the first run. The SRT-4 only had a boost controller and that's it. He really suck for a driver and got crush by me. But he won because I was amped up from losing the first run and red light this time. The time slip results is as follows:

R/T = 0.464
60' = 2.162
594' = 8.610
MPH = 77.87
660' = 9.188

3rd and last run was again a 400hp GTO. I was determine to hook up on this slippery track as fast as I can. We both came out of the hole at the same time and he put 1.25 car lenghts on me at the top of 1st gear. Then he granny shifted 2nd and I power-shifted. I came back to his door maybe side mirror and he pull back out again as we went thur the powerband to about 2 car lenghts. Then he granny shifted 3rd gear and I pull right back to his rear fender well. He beat me to the line by like 1-1.5 car lenghts. As we hit the 1/8th we both shifted into 4th and kept going to about 95mph. I don't know whether I should be happy about this run or not. But I think I did pretty damn good and after that run. He came up to me and was like dude you be driving the hell out of that Z. He was saying stuff like man I seen you out of the corner of my eye as I engage 2nd gear and I thought you was going to pass me. I told him that LS1 motor is too strong for me to work my way back but through my power-shifting I was able to gain ground but as we drove through the powerband you would pull back out again. I have to admit he was a good sport in showing respect for the Z! Result from time slip this time:

ME / HIM

RT = 0.664 / 0.598
60' = N/A / 2.167
594' = 8.558 / 8.549
MPH = 78.40 / 81.41
660' = 9.132 / 9.102
Winner
0.096

I will post slips later and check video!

Theres no way that most Z's could beat a 600cc bike. Period.

Look bro I don't come on here telling lies, it's no where in my nature. I always keep it real with all my wins/losses. I haven't had a chance to look at the camera yet to see what my girl record but I'm telling you now. I can back up my story no questions ask. I will put my camera mount in my car and prove to ya'll that at 135+ the 600cc is game. I'm sorry if the truth doesn't compute in your brain. We ran twice and like I said anywhere from a roll up to 125 my Z does not have a chance. But right at 130's that's when I notice something and I stayed on it. Keep in mind I told you I did a fly-by and ahead start of aleast 2-3 bus lengths both times from like 120 to get things going. I will prove to ya'll two peepd and whomever doesn't believe this story soon......STAY TUNED!

Dont get defensive man....
I'm sure that 135mph+ it would be a more fair race.... but under that speed or from a dead stop, theres no way..... The laws of physics are against the Z

I was just responsing to this comment. To your second comment that's what I already explain! It just seem by your first commet you was telling me I was lying just not in those exact words. I'm cool bro and I know there's peeps on here on wanting me to prove what I said. I just called my homeboy with the R6 and I probably will set something up tonight or tomorrow tonight. I have to get this on film before he gets his R1. He should be getting that like this weekend. To tell you more about his R6 it throws a flame out of the back of the exhaust when you rev it to redline. I thought that was pretty freaking cool. I want to own 1 but I'm scared I might really kill myself.

Alright ya'll here are the time slips from the track. I don't know where I place the time slip against the prelude at, but here is the one I red light on was against an SRT-4 and other slip was against a 400hp GTO. I'm still working on getting my homeboy with the R6 to come out again so I can get the action on film for any of ya'll that doubt this post.

I'm in the left lane on both slips, the one on the right against SRT-4 and the one on the left against GTO!
