Nov 30TH Sac Raceway video update:

Us Sactown people went to the track Wednesday, had a bunch of fun, got a bunch of runs in, and saw some nice cars...

Fastest car of the night was a modded EVO, he said he had Bolt Ons, Upgraded Turbo, Manifold, and said he had 3 inches all the way back. I saw this car run a couple of 11.9's in the mid 110's mph, and a low 12 in the low 120's mph, its a quick car in person.

A Stock C6 Z06 showed up, he let us check it out and talk to him, a cool guy, young, probably early/mid 20's at the most, said he was trying to better an 11.7 run he did the weekend before, the fastest I saw of the night was a 12.1 at 121. The first Video is the Z06 vs. EVO, I have another video I will be uploading of the Z06 actually beating the EVO with a 12.3 run but only because the EVO bogged and ran a 12.4. But still, the Z06 Stock was amazing, I cant wait to see some videos of one with an exhaust, this one was just to quiet even though it sounded great! Videos are probably going to be optimized until tomorrow, they have to have time to review what is being posted, so be patient.


Second video is of a member here, MATTRESSMAN, and a buddy of his running against each other, he does 13.7 at 99 I believe, but I saw him trap 103 this night, Ill let him post his mods, and faster mph and times if there was something I missed.

Sorry about the stupid video X screen, its a trial version of this converter I was using to change DAT to MPEG.

That would have been a good video if the ad for the converter didn't show up at the most crucial part of the video, the launch. The video cuts off before the Zs ever race.

I am uploading the Z race right now it will be on a different link. As for launch, he didnt spin, I think he might have bogged just a little bit, no wheel spin though.

Did bigbri ever come out to the track?

Yeah he came out, but since his brake fuse wasnt removed, he couldnt do a burn out holding the brake and the drags didnt get anywhere near warm enough, so the BFG's he got (the slick kind) size 275 on his 18 inch track wheels didnt do hardly better then his 19's with 275 street tires(that sucked)....He was trapping 121-122 all night roasting 1st, 2nd, part of third, and chirping 4th, watch the first vid I posted of him racing, not much has changed, except trap speed lol....he plans on going back with fuse removed on a sunnier day, it was really cold, dark and humid on the 30th. Ill be there catching his 11 second passes....

Yeah I was at Stockton and Sac during thxgiving and it was pretty cool and humid out. Very nice place.

Thanks for posting the vids Ian. Wasn't the best night for racing since it sprinkled here and there (high humidity) and probably the worst track prep they've ever had because they thought they weren't even going to be open.

We will have to hit up one of the "test and tune" days on a saturday, there are hardly anyone there except the serious racers, and it open in the morning, instead of the evening, maybe if its sunny we all can go. Its $45 though, if I get my 285's here pretty soon I dont care if its snowing, I am going to the track, these Direzza's suck *****, and Im tired of 2.3 60 foots, lol.. Your car sounds pretty mean, and if performs too, peace!
