danielwebb would be the guilty party member. This is not the first time either.

That said, a member on here VeeTec ran 13.6 bone stock. Figure with some stickier tires, he could run maybe a 13.3. An extra 40whp could definitely get you into the 12's. I don't understand why people think its so hard?

my car weighed 3100 race weight when i ran my 12.9 at 106, that was with stock exhaust, stocker headers, stock motor, stock lots of stuff, basically just had a KnN, test pipes, plenum spacer, pulleys and utec tuned by me a long time ago, i wish i still had that set up, i would easily be able to tune more than 10-12 more out of it and could have ran a tenth or two better

my new goal NA is 11s, i am currently building a 12.7 to 1 compression piston, big cammed, ported heads, lightweight rods, lightened crank, 8 pound flywheel, full NA (with addition to nitrous after i break all kinds of records ) i am going to easily break the 300 mark, i am going for 350 actually, i will have my dynojet to prove it. with the right total compression ratio and everything working nicely together, i dont see why this will be an issue, i will have my stock 6MT full tranny setup back in there.

i will be doing a write up on it as soon as my pistons get here...

I'd much prefer lapping you anyway.
the funny thing is you started in with your little quip about sticky tires, downhill and -DA's, so dont act like what i posted was out of the blue. as for the broken nose, if you think i have some sort of internet alter ego, you are sadly mistaken, ask audible about the few times i have been around him. if you dont like drag racing, stay out of this topic

No

Jeremy, your new setup sounds awesome. 350whp N/a will be one fun car. Do you think you will be able to tune it with 93 octane though, or the compression will be too high?

too high i am sure, i am going to try to kill the timing though and see how low of octane i can get it to run around on, just for fun...

but yeah, pistons will be here in a week, then drop off the block at machine shop and i will be good to go...

i will have a nice write up on it here soon with some nasty track times to back it up, i just want to smoke the majority of the stock block TT guys track times

is that utec the same one used for the foreced induction setups? i ask because I may go FI and don't want to buy something i'll regret or end up selling.

2007 has better air flow with the dual intakes. This thread is old and based on prior z technology. I am sure there are at this time more 300 whp z out there with new technology on tuning and more experience gained over the years.

My HR Z hit 309whp with 108 degree inferno weather. Taking it out to get it retune in a couple of weeks when I install my new NKG Laser Iridiums with Okada Plasma Direct Coil packs.

link to that please.
very intesting topic. i dont like the fact that my z has the same stock #'s as z's next to me at street lights, let alone 3.5L altimas. help me overpower them please..
for you guys saying 300+whp. what exact mods were used to attain such power?! i want. edit: i neeeed.
my plans on my 06 6mt are a injen cai. test pipes, hi flow cats, full exhaust, lsd, and maybe a plenum spacer if it really helps and doesnt kill my throttle response. what hp would i be around with these mods? what else do you add (bolt on) for 300+whp.
lastly 300whp = about how much hp at the crank?

Anything can be done guys, once the funds are there. Many of you wanting all this power aren't gonna like the means to which it's achieved! 300-320whp is pushing it in terms of this car being a DD. After that is not what most of you guys are looking for...
