best mod I did was the 3.9 gears and the Quaife LSD. Intakes, exhaust and test pipes don't do squad on Z's. The gears alone gained me 1/2 second on the quarter mile. I acutally think my Injen SES super dual exhaust with test pipes hurt me a little bit.
However, with GTM's 4.5 stroker you can get a ton more HP with cams and high compression. And you spend as much as a (safely boosted) Z with all the money you spend on forged parts and boost and problems you WILL run into. I thinks its worth it. Im NA forever baby. I dont like waiting for my HP to build. I want it nowwwww hahaha. However for those with boost. I commend you.

I don't have to Im at 305 solid now and I have barely stared, al i have is intake and full exhaust its going to take some research but. I got a sick Motor and plan on getting a stroker with High compression. Besides. I surprise even boosty Z's and G's with my whp AND MY 4.08. I can hang. trust me. and if all else falls. there is always the Bottle for my motor to suck on.
What year Z and with what supporting mods?
this is a drag forum... 1/4 slips please... and if you are into dyno racing post up a dynojet sheet.. any other dyno numbers are useless here. A dynapak will read 300+whp with just basic bolt ons and other types of dynos can read whatever the operator wants them to.

Well I'm sure a lot if not everyone knows my mods. Ill start with my Stillen headers (wrapped), Berk Test pipes, Stillen Y-pipe, AAM 3" single exhaust, Injen dual intakes w/ K&N filters, Greddy Easy 264/264 cams, DSS pro axles, Quaife LSD, 4.08 gears, ACT 6puck cultch sprung, JWT flywheel, TWM short throw shifter w/ blk pearl shift **** and these little pricey things came in today from UPS let's see how the work... 
Aftermarket ignition systems haven't done much for any VQ under the 1000whp mark. The OEM system is more than enough for N/A and even medium-big boost.
Please post before/after dyno sheets -- you can swap the coils out right on the dyno without removing the plenum after your baseline.
