in the second slip, it said the truck ran a 10, track thingy was off for his side, but i am pretty sure i beat him..

well your reaction time has nothing to do with your quarter mile time, it only applies when you are bracket racing, there is no way that you could possibly run mid 13s while trapping 96-97 mph

keep practicing and open up that motor a bit and you will improve your times

oh see, i thought that it meant it took me .6 to go from the start of the clock, so if i got a .1, that would have saved me .5 sec off my time... noobie to drag i guess...

what does dp mean?

i accidently double posted...

your reaction time is the time it takes you to start from when the bottom light turns green

this is only used when bracket racing because you are racing the guy next to you

you dial in the time you think you will run, then the lights go down and whoever can get to the finish line first without going under the time they dialed in wins

The 14.2 seems about right if your Z is stock..But why are the trapp speeds so low. I thought you guys trapped in the low 100's on average????

Englishtown is one of the most beautiful tracks on the east coast.

Is this you first time racing? You jumped right in and ran eliminations. Cool.

I can see a traction problem for everyone becuse of the weather. Even #4469 in a 11 second car had a 2.2 second 60-foot time.

Just a future note when you post time slips: circle the number your car. Appreciated.

The green light starts the reaction time counter.
The counter stops when you reconnect the pre-staging light. Remember that your front tires block the pre and stage beams.

I think.

yeah, i have to work on going on the 3rd yellow. I dont want to red light.
And i was in the left lane on all runs, sorry about that..

Also this was my first time racing. Yes i jumped right in, but my car wasn't to consistent as acount of the cold weather. I figured it would catch better with lower pressure, so i dialed in at 14.15.. i was wrong, but at least i beat the neon down the track right.. I may have lost bracket, but if it was heads up i woulda sent 3 people home on 3 runs..lol
