audiblemayhem, line locks were used for the "box". The way we set it up would be difficult to use on the launch. It is on a toggle switch under the dash. Because of that we never used the line lock on the tree. Because we couldn't build boost on the line we always struggled with the launch. As you mentioned bog, spin , or both. The nismo suspension is also a disadvantage at the dragstrip. But the cars stance is unbelievable. We will post some pics when we get the car back from having the 6 point installed. Thanks again, Jason

i would move the switch if i were you, i know if you were to build some boost on the line with the toggle switch more accessible you would have a much better launch

just my two cents....

Jason-Eric, What you need to do is wire the tranny brake and line lock together so you can roll up pre stage, set the line lock about 700-1000lb of brake pressure then get on the gas to bump it in, then lay on the throttle. The car will launch like an animal.

Also what stall convertor you running? It may be to tight to allow the car to come up properly. What about a management system? Please feel free to call us as we have a lot of time and money invested in making these cars go real fast with autos.

audiblemayhem, 7second350z, and alberto, I wanted to clarify. Those times were last year on the manual tranny. I know guys are cutting lower 60's with a manual, but for some reason we never managed to make it happen. The auto is now in the car, but as mentioned earlier we still need to have tranny mount and driveshaft made. Our season doesn't start for another month or so. Once the z is dialed in and we have some seat time I think we will see some awesome 60' times as well as the rest of the run. We will let you know how the first test n tune goes with this new setup(3rd week in april). Thanks again. Jason
