i remember hearing people talk about 300zx rims being perfect for slicks or DR's because they fit over brembos and were light as hell. does anyone know which 300zx rims were being talked about and how much they weighed?

 

I assume its these, well they have one on this wrecked up 350z.

I run 91 300zx TT rear wheels. They're 16x8.5 35 offset and I run 26x11.5 ET streets on them. Not sure if they clear Brembos though. Weigh in around 18lbs.
The NA and the TT front wheels are only 7.5 inches wide, but a little lighter. No idea if the fronts will fit with either brakes. I'd shoot for a set of the TT rears to be safe and to give the ability to run a wider tire.
