Trap speed has nothing to do with driver skill. Trap speed is indicative of the car's power. E/T is all about driver's skill.

BS-I can show you 30 Z's with more whp than my car, and yet they dont trap near my NA traps. Driver influences both ET and trap speed greatly-but trap is a good general way of getting an idea of a cars power if you know its weight.

Like hell it doesn't. Put someone in the car who shifts slowly, poorly, at the wrong RPM, etc, and then put someone in that exact same car who shifts quickly and at the proper RPM and watch the trap speed go up. I've got over 300 1/4 mile passes in the last 3 years alone, don't try to tell me that driver skill has nothing to do with trap speed, because it absolutely does.
