Yesterday was my first time ever racing at the track. COMPLETLY diferent from street racing lol I thought i would be doing mid/high 13's, but i could not get the right launch my 60 foot would not get lower then 2.3 that **** had me going crazy all night long. and then the one time that i actually flew out of the line perfect i mess up on 3rd gear towards the end lol i kept on hitting 14.2/ 14.3.. All i have done is borla true dual exahust, injec cai, test pipes on a 06 350z.. its not much but i shoulda done better. now i gota practice that launch and ill be bak at the track going for the 13's but all around it was a fun night.

 

Glad you had fun, at same time funny to see peoples reactions to what they ran compared to what they think they will run. After my first ever track event I left with a high appreciation for every .1 of a second. Post your 60ft, 1/8 trap and ET and 1/4 trap speed so we can give you pointers.

 

well i cant find the 14.2 slip.. so im going to go with the second best...

Yeah that launch is killing you. With most stock Z's even with a 2.1 60ft thats good fo r13.'s easy with quick shifting....

 

get that 60 ft down . almost everyone at the track had traction problems that night
