I have this on video but the quality is not the greatest and I have no idea how to post it. This is the same night and place I just had my best time of 14.373 with a pop-charger, exhaust, 20's and AT. I just want to get into the 13's. Tilley how bout that Toyota that flipped and crossed the finish line on his roof and still ran in the 10's. That was nuts!!!!

That was pretty crazy i was just gettin used to the new clutch and that had to happen and i only got one more run..

Just curious if it all bolts up, or you had to custom some mounts. This whole swap intrigues me, as I will be inheriting a 95 maxima and was thinking of playing with it a little.
Also, you bolted in the Vq35, using the vq30 wiring, or are you using a different wiring. The ecu was flashed by a different company? The Spec V tranny bolted up to the VQ?

The 2k2+ maxima use the same vq35 as a z but with different IM and different ECU program. The Spec V trans is the same gear setup as maxima 6spd except a helical LSD and a 4.25 ratio instead of a 3.82 (02-03) and a 4.11 (04+). Wiring is a VQ30 harness with all VQ30 covers/timing components on a VQ35, ECU is a JWT 555cc inj/cams/z32 MAF/9to1 comp./7200rpm rev cut. If you get a max and need help feel free to contact me i got 6 of them, one boosted running mid 11s and one NA running 13.3s (for now)

ya, a lighter car will show those better gains. Its part of the game.
Im really impressed that you can actually do these things and its not a honda. Using the motor of a Vq35, but then all the accessories and wiring of the Vq30 just makes sense. JWT is the ***** with their ECU tuning so thats awesome. Setup sounds really cool. I will definitly head over to that forum when i have a chance. Thanks!
