My jealousy toward your lower R/T < Your jealousy toward my better looking car and faster ET's.

Damn, I really didn't want to go there

Read the thread Cat-daddy! I was talking about my homeboy Ztampa. I mean, the whole R/T thing was clearly referenced in my posts about Ztampa. You clearly stated that your personal best time was a 14.00 with a .4xx R/T. So, with me running 13.9's with better R/T's than you, it would have been a totally different statement.

Also, if your car looks better than this than you have one hell of a ride!

Haha, I thought you were talking to me..

But yea, my best isn't in the 14s anymore

I gotta say, I'm not diggin the wheels or the spoiler, but I do like the headlights - that's a nice touch.

Interesting, thats the first negative comment I've received about my rims and spoiler. If you got a chance to see these wheels in person I believe you'd change your tune. Its hard to see how concave these rims are on my crappy pictures. FYI they are Racinghart CP-S10's which I've never seen on any other Z.

Which wheels do you sport?

The spoiler is too vertical for me. The wheels, from the side view, look great, but directly looking at them, I just don't like the center part of it. But I do like that style (i.e. Work Emotions CR Kai). I have nismo replicas, so mine is nothing special either. Don't take it personally, as we all have different opinions on things.

sigh, your kidding right? ings front spoiler with mismatched painted. mud flaps instead of side skirts and rear lip? that is one of the front lips that basically requires you to have lower side skirts to look good. the spoiler is sits to vertically. wheels are ok at best. car overall isnt terrible but stock looks better.

Good point on the front lip. However, I did buy the Vader/Veilside front lip and to be honest, the ing1/2 lip looks 110% better. Actually, its the only lip that was as low as the mud flap to continue the line somewhat.

As far as the paint, it was matched with my old spoiler(DuPont QX1) and was sprayed the same time as the daytona wing and you didn't seem to pick up on that mismatch. The problem with this 3 stage paint is the shadowing. If you look at the front view(pic), the right side is shaded so the lip isn't picking up any light where as the center is "flashing" because of the sun. Thats why a bunch of the cars that get ragged on this forum for not matching are PPW and SStones.

I'm sorry you don't like the spoiler.

The rims are OK, I should have got something with a big phat lip. I just couldn't find any pics of Z's with Volks on them. Thats why I decided to get the rims everyone else had!

Seriously, I wasn't trying to be a d!ck to that guy, but he thought I was talking to him when I was talking to my homeboy and he got snippy. And if his car looked better I would give him props but he hasn't posted pics and neither have you! ****, the cat put down his own wheels when he said,"ah there just nismo replicas" when I think there just fine(almost went that route).

Once again, thanks for the comments and concerns!

Definitely a nice car! I'll give you one thing, your pics are better!

I see you put clear bumper lenses in. You should put clear diffusers in the headlights, its not as scary as it seems.

Thanks! Too bad mine isn't SilverStone! Hey, all your missing is some wheels. Have you been doing anything about test pipes? My garage is here if you need it. Also, I found a local guy to do the MREV2 mod so I'll give you details when he's done. We'll definitely go back to the track when I get that mod done. I'll PM you.

Thanks. My pics were reduced in quality, too. Those pics were before my new exhaust and before I ever Zaino'd it. It looks better now.

I really do want to do that headlight mod, but I just don't feel confident enough to put it in the oven and seal them back up.

Haha, so you did the headlight mod yourself and I did the MREV2 myself. MREV2 is definitely not hard to do yourself. There's no need to pay somebody else to do it. It took me about 2.5 hours to do WITH cleaning the stock upper and lower plenums. Maybe you should do my headlights and I'll do your MREV2.

Well, you have inspired me! I'm going to do the mod myself. I helped Ztampa install his(MREV2) and when we compared it to the factory one we understood why he only charges around $100 after core. Wish me luck!

Also, if you go to Ricks wed site(the guy who sells the diffuser) they have a install right up for the headlights. I followed it to a T and everything went well. Just remember to wear gloves.

One more thing, do you feel the MREV2 mod produced gains?

hey IP Gthreefive, I think your car looks good. Interested to see what it would look like if you continued the two-tone look over the roof of the car!
