Default Will 4.5 backspacing work?

I just ordered my new Drag Racing wheels since the prostars use shank lugs and I keep on going through wheel studs like a mad man

after going back and forth with available wheel options that use acorn lugs instead of shanks and the lack of 5.5 back spacing on any of them I asked the guy at Jegs if anything else works, he looked it up for the 350Z and said the specs state 4.5 backspacing is fine.
So I ordered the Jegs Sport Star 5 Spoke Wheels: 15x8 bolt 5.4-5 back spacing 4.5

Should I be concerened or is the 4.5 backspacing just fine?

here's a pic

wheels are 120 a piece that's over 110 cheaper than getting the centerlines

You even posted in that thread.

Multiple people in there are saying 15x8 w/ 4.5" BS won't work...

i think you are going to have probs with them sticking out. 5.5 or 5 for 8" wide wheels and 6.5 for 10"(at least on stangs and we seem to use the same wheels)

Should fit fine, 15x8.0 4.5" backspacing is = to 15x8.0 +12mm offset. Worst case you can roll your fender if the tires stick out too much. I'm assuming you run -0.5 to -1.0 degree rear camber...

the jegs guy looked it up and said that 4.5 BS would work which was the reason I ordered them....however reading mixed results here got me worried. If I have to roll the fender so be it as long as that takes care of it.

I'm running -1.2 rear camber, I want to still have a drivable street car.

Well, the wheels arrive on wednesday, we'll find out then. I'm keeping my fingers crossed

with that much camber you'll have no problems I thought all drag racers ran 0 deg. camber

Update:

Wheels and Tires (mounted) arrived today. The wheels look and feel almost identical to the prostars (except, Acorn Style Lug Nuts, yeah!)

The tire is freaking huge...I wanted a wider tire but it's taller more than wider.
I mounted them and there is about 2.5 inches between the rubber and the fender. I took it for a ride and it's rubbing on the top inside of the fender when hitting a bump. Rolling the fender should take care of that for regular driving but I am concerned about launching.
What I think I'm doing is getting the fender rolled and put my old ET Streets (26X10.5) on and try to return the new tires.
otherwise it should work fine with the 26's

Wow, those are HUGE! Don't 800+ HP cars run the same size?

well, I'm getting my engine build next week and planing for a mid 600whp tune. Since I've been running the 26's I figured the 28's to be a good upgrade to accomodate the new power. But as I said, I wanted them to be wider not so freakin' tall. I just have a hard time translating the et street dimensions into the regular tire dimensions. Obviosusly I screwed up that one
