mjedens, i know you said they wouldn't fit, but i wasn't sure if that was the same backspacing. i saw some on SCF for sale, so i had to make sure. so 15x10s wont fit no matter what?

the 15x8 do not need backspacers if you use the model I listed on the top of the thread

in a 15x8, you need a 5.5" BS... In a 15x10, you need a 6.5BS.. the 4.5" BS WILL NOT FIT... Hope this helps...

What is the widest tire that can fit on the Weld 15x10 with 6.5" BS? Is 12.5" too wide?

The question is not what is the widest tire for the wheel... But should be what is the widest for the Z.. :-) On the 10" wheel, you should be able to sqeeze a 12" tire but you really don't need anything that wide... I am running a 10.5 wide tire on a 8" weld.. You should run a 26 or 27 x 11.5 on the 10" if you want... Your problem won't be traction, it will be with your drivetrain... I already have too much traction w a 10.5 tire and 450 whp.. But if your pushing more than that and upgrading yours axles n drivetrain, then i would go w a 11.5 maybe.....

Quick ?

Would a 15 x 8 wheel with a 5" bs fit.

Checkout centerline wheels, telstar- name of wheel.

I have these on my mustang right now with a 275/50/15 bfg dr's

I''m just throwing out another possible option for you guys.

later

A 5" BS on an 8" whell, equates to a +12 offset. I think this would work, as I have a +20 offset on a 9.5" wheel, now.

Too much traction for a stock car?
