the track looks very well prepped. He aced teh launch.

 

 

10.9 @ 121mph wow. Thats crazy. Anyone have some specs on this guys motor? But I think this is the Z that crashed. There was another post with some vids of guys racing in Puerto Rico. The Z was on street tires I Believe and crashed into the wall.

On a side note. Some of our self proclaimed "Drag Racing Experts" say that 127 is only good for a very high 11. I wonder what BS they're going to call on this guy.

im sure this is the guy i puerto rico a long time ago. yes you can run 10s with mid to low 120s, mustang guys do it all the time....


hell domestic guys always say that 110 trap, you should be running 12.0s....


these cars just dont launch hard enough yet. its coming though!!

 

i'd have to see the slip, but 121 traps and 10 sec ets are generally going to be from 1.4 60's

 

I remember that, the guy who ran it posted that video here when he did it. Nice run.

 

i was doing 12.5's @ 111 all day on street tires and 2.0's 0-60

 

This car has trapped higher than that I believe in the 125++ range but on that pass he just did 121. This is not the one that crashed. The one that crashed had gone deeper in the 10s I believe.

 

I wonder what slicks hes using and the weight of his car and his suspension setup. His car squatted quite a bit.

 

IIRC he ran a 1.6 60ft and had some weight reduction. I believe it.

Jisnis-your crazy if you think any drag racing expert told anybody on these forums that 127mph is only good for a very high 11 sec run. I ran 11's with a weak 114mph trap.

I know what your reffering to, and I dont want to open up a can of worms, but seriously learn to read. Npbody said it wasnt possible in that thread, just that the driver/heavy car in question likely wasnt gonna do it or it would be a big stretch for him to do it based off what hes done already. I really dont want to bring all that up again though, hes on his way to his goal time will tell.

 

Thats Coco's car. I dont think he was ever on the forum. Very nice guy. I also believe he is the camera man.

He was putting down about 322rwhp in the states. The last I heard he was putting down like 520's. Stock block. or high 5's I dont know. Something crazy that you dont see every day. If you watch Weberconnection, in the vid section, the black Z in the beg. is the same car crashing

 

Yes that my friend Coco and he did 124 mph in that run, the board is missing a few ligths he use DOT tires for that run and did 1.58 in the 60 ft's... oh and he just have 490 rwhp that day...
