I just remembered there was an orange z up at the track that was turbo, and i believe it went 12.80s or so, i didnt even notice because i was so focused on running, my friend told me afterwards, anyone know who this is? and thanks guys, next time i go to the track, ill try feathering the clutch at around 2500 or so, and ill let air out of the tires and see if that helps.

In fact, go to a nearby drag strip and try it out and you'll learn.
No, I dont really just dump the clutch. I actually do feather it just a bit. The "nearby" dragstrip is about 2 hours away, so its not really like I can just go and practice all the time. I just practice my launchs on backroads, just really the launch, and the 1-2 shift.

4800rpm's. Most people would drop the clutch too fast and spin, or they would try to slip too much and burn the clutch. It has been done by good drivers though cutting 1.9 60ft's on street tires...

Wow, that would be impressive. I would be content with anywhere from 2.0-2.1 60' on my street tires.

So how do you guys launch on you BFG's though?
