Drag Section in a slump...
well, it seems like everyone is currently building thier monsters!! This winter is going to be some ground breaking breakthroughs for sure, i can feel it...
looking like in the next month or two, 4 to 5 fast *** Zs will be making some headlines!!
cant wait.....
i will need about a month to get the car back from getting the 8 point in, then a few weeks to get everything running perfectly and fully retuned

Hell yeah there will be! Looking forward to dealing with you on my DPN set-up. I feel it'll be a tad original on a Z and look forward to putting down some major torque. I think for people in Florida like us the objective is to get the car done by the end of October so you have about four months of 50-60 degree weather to pull some good times.

my car will be fast in anyones eyes, unless everything keeps breaking...
i would love to do some sponsoring and build some fast a$$ NA cars, you gotta be crazy though!!!
deep 12 would be cake, i ran 12 .9 with 256 DJ SAE hp.... just gutted out a little bit.
that was simple bolt ons, i would love to do headwork and some big cams..

well, NA is all about weight, you got to get that power to weight ratio down, driving counts as a lot as self proclaimed "1320 God" mentioned.
i mean some simple bolt ons, a utec, lightened car, ported heads, cams, some high compression.... it could run low 12s easily, with much respect!! possibly even high 11s with a hell of a launch!!!

i think low 12's with only boltons is possible with a 3k race weight. 2v mustang guys do it in awesome weather
jeremy, your car was trapping like 105 in the heat here. a little lighter, full exhaust, perfect gearing and tuning with slicks and skinnies and i think its there in good weather. the next most impressive thing is stock short block ets, so maybe just some head porting and cams.
then strap some 28's on the car and a 150 kit and go 10's on the stock block.
then get even crazier and put a nice manual valve body trans with a big stall and spray that

I took a break during July and August because of the heat. The effects on the car is no big deal, I just do not do well spending 8 plus hours in the sun.
Interesting that we have not seen any time slips from new racers in a long time. There is no rule that you must be forced induction to drag race.

hey jackie, i have to buy another car to try all that. mine is way way past that point
i get it back from getting in the 8 point welded in. plus my fuel cell box had to get fabbed out of sheet aluminum that is being mounted over my rear axle. i will be out to the track in the next month with it, i will get a hold of ya for sure...
