My 9 second NHRA roll cage... (lots of pics)

This is a nice thread but I have a fair assessment. Some members have their threads moved because they are in the wrong area, to be fair across the board, I think this thread should be in the body, interior, and exterior area. A cage has nothing to do with FI and this is a interior modification. So to prevent a sign of unequality I think this thread should be moved. It might get more responses if it is placed in the correct area.

It was in the FI section because it's a necessary mod for a Fi'd car that goes to the track when hitting these numbers and it is a modification hence the modification forum...
I think it was right where it should have been....just my humble opinion

Wouldn't have made more sense to pain before installing?
I'm arguing with myself if I should get it done now before the install, but I'm not sure in regards of the welding

i wish man, i got my th400 shipped to me from my builder and Old Dominion (frieght) broke the whole bell housing off the tranny, the whole thing laying in pieces on the truck.... F ing idiots. so i have to wait another 2 weeks to get my new one.
i will have the fuel system done today and try to get my full interior back in and it will be just about ready to drive. then i will mess around for two weeks with my burnt up clutch and then as soon as i get the tranny, yank the motor, fix the rear main seal and put on the TH. it will be a few weeks but it will be strong soon...
