Default Help with wheel and tire choice for the track

just looking for a little help from anyone out there...im planning on going with a 15x8 weld pro star wheel and was going to go with a BFG DR 275/50 tire to use at the track. the only problem i have is what backspacing to go with...i can get 3 1/2, 4 1/2, or 5 1/2. when it comes to wheel and tire sizes i am pretty dumb to say the least. any suggestions anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated. oh and am i making the right choice by going with the BFG's over the MT ET streets...i am planning on using these at the track and also for the ride to the track..

If you don't want to go with ET Streets (slicks) go with ET Street Radials

the BFG's are very good but the MT's are supposed to be better

no, the 15's don't fit over the Brembo's the 16's did but Weld no longer makes them

I think there are Mustang wheels that do the trick but not sure about that.

they suck!

the amount of wheel studs I had to replace is beyond fun.
They work on the oem studs but depending on your track you might get kicked out because the oem studs are not long enough.
You can get the 50 mm Nismo Studs they work fine. The 60 mm are too long and will shave off the lug nuts.

BTW I'm selling mine

I have a set of 2 Welds with BFG DR's (275's) hardly used
or a set of 2 Welds with ET Streets (about 10 runs on them)

pm me if you're interested

I have some 16" draglites that use those shank lug nuts. Im trying to get rid of them as we speak. LOL! Hopefully I can get some wheels that use regular lug nuts.

the Centerlines are very promising, that's my next choice and they do the custom back spacing but it's about $250 per wheel.
