Smile I love racing.

Today I won only 1 round but still enjoy the thrill of competition racing. Nothing beats a WIN and returning to the staging lanes for another round. I ran 13.58 on a 13.70 dial-in and surprised the hell out of myself. Photos below of my car and some of the competition.

I still remember the days when your dial-in was 14.1 and you were trying so hard to break 14's...

good job David! Practice is definitely paying off!

That drag strip looks like it's right in the middle of a residential? You can pull off the strip and right into your garage. Crazy.

Thanks. I always run with #141. I think it is because I am so accustomed to seeing 14.1 on the windshield.

This house belongs to the owner of the dragstrip. I guess they don't mind the noise.

Now you see.. That's exactly what i'd do if i had the cash. Build a drag strip right off my driveway. I could open the garage, stage, and take off to get groceries with a time slip in hand... How great would that be?

Nice times! I keep telling myself I need to get to the track sometime soon. I've never taken my Z, and it's been probably four years since I've been. Last time was with my Integra, so it'll be a completely different story with the Z, but I want to see what I can do! The only negative thing is that the closest 1/4 mile is about an hour from where I live. Hope nothing breaks!

Sorry for the OT question, but roughly, where is this track in relation to Columbia? I go to columbia a few times a year for business, and I've driven my car a couple of times. And on what nights do they do T&T?

I just got the Good Year F1 GS D3. So they have good grip. Hopefully going to the strip in Nov and test them out.

Great job david, I aspire to get better at this whole drag racing business. But I plan to beat your MPH with mods and tuning ;P

David-impressive driving, especially those 60ft's, nice work. Little cooler weather and you may drop .1 off your best of 13.4
