Default So I went to the drag strip today.....

OK, first I want to say that I am not saying that young kids can't afford a 350z, but you usually do not see 17 year olds with there own. But, when I see a 17 year old driving a 2006 350z track edition I think, "Daddy bought that." Call me jealous if you want but I don't really care. I am 23 and I work for the goverment, ARMY, and went to Iraq to get mine. But anyways.

I have a 2003 enth. edition, stock, and I ran a 14.133. Earlier the year I ran a 13.98. And that was with a bad tranny. But these kids were running 15's and 16's. The best was a 14.56. Did I mention they were brothers. Another thing, as I said I am running stock, but they have injen exhaust, test pipes, and cai. W.T.F.

I don't know. This post is absolutely pointless. I guess I am a little bitter at the fact that when I tried to talk to them car talk they acted like they are to good to talk to me. Maybe because there dumb bleach blondes were in a mustang and mustang people are my enimies. Or the fact that they made 350z's look like **** in front of everyone. I know 300 horses and 14.1 isn't that great but 16's. My friends cavalier that came did 16's and it barely runs.

In conclusion, I need to go order TT for the car because 14.13 just doesn't cut it. Good day.

What in gods name does age have to do with ET? And other 350Zs that were running 15 and 16 seconds (which we cannot verify) have to do with your ET? I am lost about the blondes.

If you want to talk drag racing, post time slips. The other subjects are way over my head.

Nice introduction.

I dyno higher at the same place with just an exhaust and 19s then 3 or 4 people with bolt ons.

Maybe they were P'Od cause they couldn't drive and you were disturbing their chi.

I'll admit that I suck at drag racing, today actually the 3rd time ever. This post was more a rant than anything. Jealous, yeah maybe. Not as much as you would think though. Also if someone tells me how to post pictures I will post my slips. While we are at it. How do you change the avatar to a personal picture. The TT kit, I was thinking of going supercharge but looking at the price and power from both supercharge and tt, i think I will tt. I would do it right now. I am in no shortage of cash but I am waiting until feburary. Then I go back down to Arizona for 4 months and thought of getting shariff to do it since he is close to where I will be.

Oh, and age doing with ET. Nothing. Age has little or no effect on ET. Experience does. But I just thought that with a built in shift light and 300+ hp you might be able to get it in the 14's.

Once again, I know I suck. So go ahead and burn me on my times. I don't really care. I hate drag anyways. But is there ANY excuse for 16's in a modded 06 track version?

a rant yea, but whatever. its alright if they sucked and are running 15's and 16's but if theyre d!cks on top of it then thats a problem. damn punk *** kids. you should have asked them why they were running such crappy times and then suggest daddy also buy them some driving lessons...haha

Dont order a TT kit, you will only look more inadequate driving it. Consistently run 13's before you do anything else. Driving> Mods

Come on dude ... 13.98 and 14.14 on a bone stock Z is above average. But I agree with DavidV ... time slips would help.
