I still think you should consider a drive shaft loop I hate to hear about you pogo-ing at 120+
Good luck and good racing, Matt.
The driveshaft is carbon fiber, so it would shatter if it did break. it does basically have a driveshaft loop. The stock sub frame connector halfway between the trans and the rear diff loops under the driveshaft so if it did break that coupled with the exhaust right under it would make it very tough for the driveshaft to go anywhere.

3.1 is awesome, but how did you calculate that?

Yea i took a look under there and it seems like the subframe connector would keep if from falling forward, its not the drive shaft the loop is ment to protect its the universal joints if the front one goes on an unprotected car and the shaft falls and catches on the track the car is launched , kind of like a pogo stick, hence the term pogo-ing.

That is a really awesome time Briguy! Your car is quite the "sleeper" I must say, and is very clean. It seems as though you would like to become one of the premier drivers here on my350z. As is you werent already up there as it is. Good stuff, and good luck with your new setup whatever it is you decide.

http://www.wallaceracing.com/0-60_equation.php

one of the many on the internet...accurate to within +/- two tenths

I just plugged my new numbers into that and it spit out 2.9 seconds

So on the worst side of things my car goes 3.1-3.2 0-60...still pretty decent.

I've used that before, but your post just reminded me to plug in my new best timelip. Comes out to 2.25 seconds 0-60 with the ET Streets on.

My g-tech registered a 2.85s 0-60 for my car. My numbers input to that site calculated a 2.62s 0-60. Just a little data to share.
