Anyway that's what works for me, practice and find out what works for you! I'll be adding a pro- torque converter & sgp valve body soon. Here's my time slips and a video I made. Good luck!

could you please elaborate on removing the stop lamp fuse, i don't get it.
gary
The fuse in automatics cuts 20% power at a heavy load....launching. So, by removing the fuse, at your launch you will be taking off at 100% as opposed to 80%. That's info I've read as well as a few others however, I have not really noticed a difference on the time slips.

Just remember to put the fuse back in before you leave the track or you won't have any tail lights on the way home. I hope this helps!
thanks for the response, much appreciated

Some tracks require you to have working taillights when running at night time though. I know mine does.

I'll throw in my two cents.
1) Pull the plug near the master cylinder. (allows power braking keeping brake lights, but disables abs, speedo, odo)
2) Heat street tires. (more than a quick spin, but less than a slick and avoid the water box if possible. I have always been told not to heat them, but that is bull.)

Thanks.
It's in the fuse panel on the driver's side. When you take the panel off, look at the diagram on the back and it will show you where the "stop lamp" fuse is. I think it's the 4th one on the bottom row from the top, but check the chart to make sure.
