hey guys, well its been a week, my track is having a REALLY big event tomorrow so it was packed, more than twice the normal amount of people. i brought the Z out there and after a few hours of waiting, i got one run in..
problem tonight is that my tires had 9.5 pounds of air in them, i would have filled them up but the place where the air is at the track was blocked by a million cars. so i figured i would just try it out...
i revved it up to 5500 and dropped the clutch, LOL it bogged like crazy, i have in car video and out of car video, they are both really good so i will post them up on sunday as soon as i get back into town. so anyways, bogged really bad, then, and wait till you see the video, the low pressure in the tires was driving me into the right wall, i was seriously about a foot from it, its all on the vid. but i kept in it cause i knew it would be my only run, i think i let off a bit in second cause of the wall. i will see if i can hear it
went though third , fourth and got deep into fifth this time, way more than ever, but the clutch just slipped through 5th and the car was swaying really really bad. i pretty much got off it before the traps but i am not exactly sure where, im sure you can hear on the in car.
i am going back next wed to get a clean run in, the car is running very very well. it was all at 16.2 psi, i ran the same settings as the other night but the weather made it boost a bit more.

cant wait to go back and get a clean run, this one was just scary, 9.5 psi in the tires at 130 = S C A R Y..

nice. perhaps teh bogging saved the clutch for a while. it didnt have to slip as much off the line. Maybe you should use that technique to prolong clutch life for your last few passes.
