By the way, you guys should petition the MODERATORS to enable the Timeslip Database Functionality. It is built into the forum software, not sure what is required to get it up and running though. It sorts all these things, lists times, mods, track, DA, Timeslip Proof, etc. It doesn't require some person constantly updating stuff - you just put it in yourself. If someone puts something suspect in, you question it to verify, if it doesn't hold up to scrutiny they can be deleted. Petition the mods to enable that functionality - I don't see why they wouldn't.

The problem with the software is that it is self-entry with no oversight. Members can post any numbers with no verification. And if you do want some sort of oversight, I do not think that moderators want another responsibility.

Seems like a no brainer to me then - have a regular, trusted member (or a couple memberS) of the 1/4 mile forum be mods for that. That would take care of 99.9% of that issue just like it does on every other board - boards that by the way have hundreds of times more 1/4 mile drag racers than my350z does.
I really think you should put the WHP and TQ so people can see that just because you have a lot of power doesn't mean you are garaunteed to have a fast 1/4 mile time. Plus it will show who the real good drivers are.
edit- This should really be a sticky.

Unfortunately, if you truly want only 350z times you have to do it manually.

Briyguymax-Im not doubting you as a driver, in fact you are one of the few guys driving I respect on these forums, but when you ran that 13.6 "stock" it was on a different tire. Weather it was a slick, DR, or snow tire (which surprisingly hook) you werent 100% stock man...which is the point of this database, stock down to the tire. I guess it depends on what people will allow "stock" cars to run, just a thought Aceman may want to clear this up......
It does need to be a stock tire aswell. Thats what 100% stock means.
I will let BriGuymax chime in here as to if it was stock tire or not.
If you put slicks on a stock 350z you will run better times over a stock tire. Even though the engine was not touched.
Not to say you were running slicks, just trying to make a point with the 100% stock.
The STOCK section is going to the one portion that will be the most difficult to moderate. You have to take someones word if they were 100% stock.

Seems like aceman has taken that responsibility so to speak. Thanks aceman!

i would have done it a while ago if i had a z
a suggestion might be two seperate lists, na and fi(nitrous, turbo, s/c, or any combo) instead of breaking it down so much. it will be a lot easier in the long run to maintain and compare et's and powr levels
