Question slower drag times??

When my Z had only a Pop Charger, I took it to the drag strip and was running 13.8/9's .. maybe a few 14.0's all day. Following the Pop Charger I installed Topspeed headers and Megan Racing test pipes. Apparently the genius who installed my test pipes didnt screw one of the o2 sensors tight enough and it wiggled itself loose, thus creating a rattle/exhaust leak that has been annoying me for quite some time. Also, for some reason there was no gasket where the piping from the y-pipe meets the muffler . The past 2 times i have been to the strip (both perfect temp/elevation) I have ran at best a 13.9?? I have heard a few reasons for the slower times (other than my driving skills deminishing). 1 - the exhaust leak at the o2 sensor & missing gasket or 2 - I need to get my ecu reflashed (aam) because my car is either running too rich/lean.

Any input would be much appreciated.

after installing those breathing mods its best to get a tune especially after headers. the begins to run rich after to many breathing mods.

^^Wrong, actually you lean out especially in the midrange, which can cause the ecu to pull timing = run slower. This is specualtion though Id love to see slips...

I can go to the drag strip one weekend and run 13.8 seconds, then the next weekend and run 13.6 seconds. And I make no changes to the car. Go figure.
