Burn out
As good as I drive, the one thing I need to learn is heating up tires in water. Just went Friday to a track with Hoosier slicks, didn't heat them up. Just a long burn out. My 60' were worst than with M/T radials(1.818/1.824) Hoosier 1.850 best the rest 1.90s. My times were 13.083-13.014-13.072 & best of 12.901 all at 105 & 106 mph. When I get better lounches I should do 12.8s. 12.901 with 1.850 60' is missing 12.8s by a cu-ts hair(old saying.

You have a base model. Base don't have CVTS old name posi-traction. I think if you get both wheels turning you'll beat my time. I only have 2 bolt ons. & don't have 4.08s
Thats alot of tire in the rear. Are the fronts those narrow ones. My front have 235-45-17 wider than stock. If you beat me, I'll have to spend some more money

Just came back from Raceway park-1st run 12.887@106.30
I'm happy but I realize that I need to learn water burn outs. My 60' times are slower now than before. My second run spinning tires 60' 1.944 time 13.0 I plan to go racing twice more, but not before I learn how to heat up those tires. Love to get some more 12.8s & maybe 12.7s. Must have 1.750 to 1.800 60' times.
Mike, like last time, can I e-mail my times to you?

I'll be drag racing Oct 20 &/or 21st., & 22nd.
Season is ending fast, & I'd like to race at least a couple of more times. Why don't you join me & I'll show you under my hood. Once rains, wind & snow get here, driving a Z won't be fun. I'm looking for nice weather with lower humidity. I'm also hoping to learn the art of water burn outs. More 12.8s coming 12.7s possible. Next year I'll think about after market intake/exhaust. Any proven ideas on adding HP to my car???

Drive through the water and once you're past it, do like this (me in my 300ZX TT a few years ago):

Can I be added to the list if I have an 04 maxima?
Technically I fall into the Not Stock/Bolt-Ons 03-06 VQ35DE category.
Here is some more about the car:
04 Maxima 6spd manual
Intake/exhaust
26x11.5-16 ET streets
Minor weight reduction
Ran 13.3 @ 100mph
Here is the slip and some pics of the car:
Time slip is hard to see, but I am in the right lane.
Here is the same slip with inverted colors, helps to see the numbers a little better on my monitor.
