New NA bolt-ons time 12.8 @ 107.8mph
Just set the new trap speed record for NA with bolt-ons! Almost 108mph! I am getting close to matching guys with superchargers/nitrous/turbos
Here is the timeslip and video:

Sorry about the poor video quality, Kuah tried his best but the camera didn't want to focus under the low light, and when he turned the gain up it completely washed out the timing board.
Just to back that up, here's my second best timeslip:

Thanks to Kuah @ SPLParts, he has been helping me push the envelope for NA bolt-on performance for a while now. I can't believe it was back in 2004 that I first broke into 12s!
This time around we had a couple new mods on the car. The SPL solid diff bushings replaced the stock bushings I tore up last year at the drag strip. Also had the new prototype SPL mid/toe link and SPL lower/camber link, which allowed me to align the rear to 0deg camber and 0deg toe. Unfortunately all that suspension work may be a little too much traction for the NA, I had to pump on the tire pressure alot to keep the tires from bogging the engine. Things got a little better as the night got colder, but we have not yet found the magic balance of traction off the line and keeping engine rpms up.
We were also using 8kg/mm springs on the rear, which may be a little stiff for drag racing. With the new SPL arms it is pretty easy to swap out the springs, it may be something worth trying in the future to get more weight transfer to the back at the launch. Although right now I have more traction than I can deal with, so I don't know if that will be worth trying just yet.
Finally thanks to Kuah and UpRev/Cipher for the custom tuning, that was the only power mod this time around, but enough for the trap speed record for NA
Next year this time I hope to be running ported heads, cams, and new exhaust setup, which may no longer qualify as bolt-ons, but will be staying NA.

Very nice job Sfarrah!!!
The tune really did help your top end looking at your previous time. Do you powershift? And what RPM are you launching at?
I cant wait until spring so i can get back to the track.
Congrats again, I updated the list.

great times, congrats! why do you think you are so much faster than the other bolt on NA guys?

Im sure it has to do with weight reduction and his MAD driving skillz. Either that or all those SPL parts. But a higher top end could be the product of a good tune.
Do you know how much your car weighs Sfarrah?

No on the powershifting-you can hear the rpm's drop in the video between shifts. I've been tempted to try it, but I can't afford a new transmission. Road racing/HPDE's are what I truly love so I'm not going to sacrafice a transmission for a tenth or two in the quarter. I have been tempted though...
I launch somewhere between 6 and 7k rpms. It's hard to watch the tree and the RPM guage at the same time so I just try to shoot for that range.
