I kinda figured I'd let you set the bar.
Nah, Im in no rush to go to the track and A. Run crap (IMO) times due to needed slow shifting or B. break my tranny. With more practice on your current set-up (shifting speed, shift points)and with a slightly 1.70 or better 60ft you could run mid 11's. So when are you building?

I know I losing some time from 2nd to 3rd, I take a little more time there to insure a 3rd not a 5th. I am losing alot of time shifting at 6.5 instead of 7K. Sharif said to shift there becuase that extra 500rpm brings a lot of stress on the rods. It is a saftey thing for running 11.5 psi. His recomendation.
Thats a total of 2K rpms that I am not using from 1st thru 4th. What was you calculation on the "speed" on the top of fourth shifting at 7K, I know tire diameter comes into play.
I agree with Sharif in the recommendation. Trust me I believe my motor fell victim to the 7100rpm's it was seeing at the track. When I ran through the traps with the Turbonetics at 7000-7100rpm's in 4th gear with a 26" tire I was trapping 115/116mph. IMO and you can do this when you builld so you dont have to worry, when you rev 1st out far to about 7200-7300rpm's and grab 2nd quick you land WAY higher in powerband in 2nd gear, and you'll be in 3rd before you know it. Where does your car make peak power on the dyno? I couldnt really hear it but Id assume you hit 5th at the end? If so leaving it in 4th for one good run would help considerably, but its not really worth it.

Oh and to the guy who ran 1.5 60ft N/A ...... no freaking way, I was luanching 4.5K with no wheel spin and all I got was a weak 1.74 60ft!

1.74 60' for your first time on DR's is pretty good, especially with so few runs in.

Alberto - I am like 2 or 3 seconds into 5th when I hit the traps. (I think)
Dutchboy - I am going to keep the AAM system. 1.74 I know I could've launched her harder, just needed more time.

Congrats on 11s. I'd say the real factor to get you into the 11.7 range on your current setup isn't a better launch (you'd need at least a low 1.6 and that's going to be really hard on that tire), but trap speed. Get those traps back up (better conditions) and you'll see that E.T. drop with those good 60's...
