I have had the best luck between 3,000 and 3500 personally...
It al depends on your tires really....if they are in good shape, old and worn out...

Do you guys just dump it, or let the clutch easy out the hole?

I remember at the track, I revved to 2100RPM's, and dumped it. Then the RPM's died down, and I resulted in shltty times.

A bit of a jackass, but funny as hell!

The best would be for you to actually practice and try different methods on the track. Go run a few times and let us know how it turns out.

Pick a hot day to do it. You'll never have enough traction to make you happy in < 50 degree F weather. I can run 14.8 all day long on a cold day

the last time i tried launching it at 4pm i brunt my clutch up so bad because it just wouldnt catch. I do believe once i get my new clutch in launching at 4 would give me great 60' times. So its safe for me at least to say launching at 3-3.5 would be the max for stock clutchs.
