Default Bradenton Private Track Day Discussion!

OK, this is the e-mail they sent me! I'm assuming this is weekdays only, but I'll check

Private track rental fees are as follows:

One to five cars is $1000 for five hours

Six or more cars is $180/car for five hours

On private rentals, they are all five hour minimum and we prep one lane
of the track for the day. Normal times for rentals are 10am to 3pm.

Thanks
Laurie Johnson
General Manager
Bradenton Motorsports Park

Funny thing is, I'd be willing to pay the $180! In my case, five hours would give me the opportunity to tune N/A , 100 shot street and 150 shot track. If we could get ten of the fastest Z's out there, help each other out and cook on a grill, it could be a hell of a time.

However, I don't think most would be willing to do this so If Jeremy with Performance Factory wants to throw a track event through his shop its all on him.

Jeremy, this contact above doesn't deal with track promo events. I'll get you the contact e-mail address and you can take it from there.

I'm in... only problem is if its during the week from 10-3 not many people might be able to make it because of work.I guess they could always say their car wouldn't start and need to take the day off and then haul a$$ over to Bradenton for some fun.

OK, got more info...here's the e-mail! Jeremy, we should do both events that we've talked about! I can't wait until the end of summer to do something like this! She included the contact info for your event so get to it!

We don't normally have a fuel or nitrous attendant at the track during
private testing, but maybe we could arrange something. If we prep both
lanes it would be an extra $300. As for the other event you are asking
about with 100 - 200 cars, you would have to go back to
dave@bradentonmotorsports.com. I handle all of the Private Testing
Rentals.

Thanks
La

We could split the extra $300 for adding a lane and grudge match for five freaking hours. Thats definitely worth $200 a car! Damn, we could make a cool *** DVD! Any camera guys here?

I remember the event that Tampa Racing put on at Bradenton and they only allowed 105 cars.Jay correct me if I'm wrong on the number. That was almost toooo many cars. I would say half of that would be good....Jay what do you think??

I think it should be around 20 cars if we do the private T & T. But at $180 it might be cheaper to set it up similar to the Tampa Racing event(105)cars.

I just thought the intimacy of a low car count would be cool! Maybe not!

I can't believe I used that word!

Jeremy, contact the guy for events on the e-mail above. See what they offer. I'll work on getting the $180 lower, hopefully!

I would come down for this, but $180 is alot of money.

Going to a track day on the 12th https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....light=may+12th
and its only $61.00 being at the track 7-8 hours (60 cars running in that long of time = alot of runs)

I'd be interested if they allowed more cars to run for a decent price with both lanes prepped. One lane prepped = gay...

Yep, and I'm sure between 20+ people it won't be an issue. We should get together a list of people who would show up and be willing to run and provide them with a basic number. Perhaps they'll be willing to open it up as an actual event instead of just a "private test n tune".

I like this idea and I would be interested. IT would be nice to get around 50 Z's or so to come out to this. Need more info and a set date to start planning this if you guys want to get more serious about it.

How does it work? does the cost get cheaper if we get more people to come out and participate?

yeah, its a really cool idea, here is what i think sucks. 180 a car. no matter how many you have over 5, thats no deal, i would rather just have 6 then.

i will email him about a day with something right in the middle of the two.

i mean, there were 350 something cars there last weekend. i dont think 100 would be bad, at the viper event i ran at, there was probably right over 100 and we could run as much as we want. 100 is really nothing.

50 would be a good number for racers to aim for so let me see what i can find out.

thanks guys!!

JT

Here's there final offer!

$50 per car with 50 car minimum. Additional cars
will be charged $50 also.
Any spectators thru the gate to watch will be $10
each. Anything less than
that I can't open. Hope this helps.

Basically, its $2500 for five hours with both lanes prepped, nitrous and gas available and spectator fee of $10(that kinda sucks).

So, who's got $2500 to send them to set a date? Anyone?
