Its only 4 bucks at Englishtown so rental helmets aren't that bad. Also they say those helmets are only good if you run over 14.00 at this track. To bad they changed the rules this year my quad helmet worked perfect for 3 years.

They are really not too worried about a 350Z that's less than 5 years old. They spend more time checking the 20-40 year old home made jalopies that show up with a bunch of leaks and big rust holes in the floor etc.

The one thing I'd HIGHLY recommend is going to a shop and trying on helmets before purchasing one. Different brands and even different styles within each brand will fit differently. I know for drag racing this isn't a huge deal since you don't wear the helmet for more than a couple minutes at a time, but for road course stuff, a proper fitting helmet makes all the difference.
I have a bell helmet for my car (bell sport III IIRC) and a Shoei helmet for when I ride my CBR600. I probably tried on 15-20 different helmets before I found one that fit me well.

Here in Hagerstown MD, most of the cars that run at the track are domestics with crazy amounts of power.

That's because you are competing. Above is an example of a slacker without a helmet. He dials in 14.0 seconds knowing that the car runs better. Another racer will catch on, and report the car number to an official. He will be disqualified.

Thats the way it should be. I see nothing wrong with that. I cant wait to go and race w/ you. Last weekend I was the only Import at the track. Luckily the people there are really cool though, and I fit right in for the most part!

Would this be a good one to invest in for the track (Morosso-specs)?

Well found out one of my buddies friend works at a bike shop. He got me a free helmet. Its a great starter helmet. Its DOT approved not sure about shell or whatever. But I think itll do for amateur drag racing and hopefully some track days soon as my suspension is complete.
