I'd love to chat with you some time in person,If you would be so kind, if only to pick up a secret or two. Maybe we should meet at a track somewhere so I may bask in all of your glory as you masterfully pilot a 300hp rocketsled down the 1320. Hell, I'll even buy the beer, your highness.

who pissed in your cheerios this morning buddy? All I am saying is there is a higher POTENTIAL for an 07 then a 14.0, supporting that by giving conquests of other vehicles that run faster then a 14.0

calm down....

Powermark, The comment was positioned for snoozer95. and yes. re read the track conditions. for that matter all of my replies. Allow me to further illustrate.
1) LS1 ss - 14.0, 13.8..@ 99 - 103. each run was just as squirly as ours.
2) 01 lightning running on slicks. I have had a lightly modified Lightning and I can assure everyone that on street tires(read stock) it ran 12.70 at 107 all day long. His was about the same state of tune and on slicks no less. never saw im crack 13.1 at 103 due to wheel spin off the line and at the 1-2 and 2-3 shift. he actually shut down on one run due to the 2-3 shift breaking loose.
I will say again that I went to the track for fun fully knowing it wasn't prime for great e/t's or mph. Also I fully agree both cars would have been well into the 13's on any other given night. just not that night. If nothing else it should serve as a reminder to some that weather/track conditions play a huge role in et/trap speed. don't let a bad number at the track deter you from going back or questioning your car. Just get out there and let it rip and have fun.

Ya and? Look at the bottom of the supercharged scale. They run a mid to low 13. So tell me how a car (07) that's rated at a low 13 stock couldn't beat a base supercharger kitted 03-05?

it was a roots blower

he did a mid gear ricer flyby, then got behind him in traffic, rolled out and then got on it, i was on his ***, having to lift slightly.

Stillen stage one kits make 260-270WHP, my 07 made 272 stock, hot out with no fans on the motor and now has intake and exhaust, so maybe around 282-285ish now (re dyno next week)

but it seems like you guys know more about my race and car then I do.......

Nice having a 424x

Sure dont. After driving 9 sec cars, taking my 13 sec car to the track gives little satisfaction.

Id much rather be out autocrossing or drifting

hmm... my last viper with nitrous ran 9.80-9.90's's at 146-148. I love taking anything down the track. I've even ran my Expedition. I do have to admit that autocrossing and open track events are alot more fun though

What's with you guys saying he "should" be running a low 13 second 1/4 mile? Looking at the list of the fastest stock cars, I see FOUR that are under 13.5 seconds in the 1/4. It takes a good driver and a great track to run those times, not one or the other. So ya, the point is, quit telling people they are running times that are too slow, or "3/4 seconds" too slow when, in reality, the times are just fine for the conditions they were racing in.
