Stock 07 350z vs stock 335i
I love my Z, but the 335 is a better car in every aspect as far as I'm concerned. Faster. More luxurious. I think it even looks better. There's something about German cars that I think is classy and aggressive at the same time. Plus, Nissan's build quality doesn't even compare to BMW's.
If I could have swung the extra $17k when I bought my Z 3 months ago, I probably wouldn't be on these forums right now.

I definately want to go as soon as possible, but I might have to wait till they open the drag strip Wednesdays and Fridays for "Test N Tune".
I am getting another upgrade next week, so I will be 100 whp over stock anyway.
After one of the 350z owners mentioned curb weight without any options...I have no doubt that they car run great 1/4 mile times.
I know for a fact that a 335 base model is almost 200lbs lighter than a fully optioned one. So there you have it.

How so? They both trap the same. The Z has a better CD, and lower weight. Your point has no solid proof.

It is the *best* indicator of what a car will do top end...don't listen to that guy.

I guess if I put it this way, it might make more sense to what we're both saying. I mean using the trap as a good "roll race" indicator in the typical rol on race range of say 70-120. The cars in question trap a solid 105 each. So, if you mean roll on races as well over 100, then you would be correct. Yet the trap at the end of the 1/4 mile still says a good amount about what that car can do over 100. If you want to know top end, look at car and drivers 0-120 and 1-150 tests...those are cool to see what happens well over 100.

This just in: I called in sick for tomorrow...so I'll be there.
I told them this is more important.
I will see you 350z owners at Pacific Raceway tomorrow.
I will have at least one more 335 with me.
Game ON!

My tires are all worn out (20k miles on them /w 140 treadwear), so I'll be lucky enough to get into the 12's.
