What kind of 60', 1/8th ET, 1/8th MPH are you running?

I've run a best of a 1.922 60' (stock tires) and usually pull consistent 1.93-1.95 times. When I slip out of my 1.9x rhythm I am usually pissed at myself. 330' I tend to hit between 5.5-5.6, the better the conditions the closer to the 5.5 mark I am. from the 330' to the 660' (1/8th) I'm consistently about another 3 seconds (so best of 8.5 to a consistent 8.6-8.7). Traps in the 1/8th (mind you I've never seen better than 800+ for a DA) are usually 80-81 MPH and HEAVILY dependent on conditions. They are only lower or higher if I do something extremely wrong on launch.

The key to the time is in the 330' time. After than most runs will be about the same, second gear has wound out by that point so its pretty much just grabbing 3rd around that mark and riding out almost the entire back 990 from there.

60' tells if you spun or not, 330' (given a good 60') tells how much the engine was bogged (or how much the clutch is slipping in some of my runs ) from the launch.

Good times.. I would of thought the 1/8th trap speed would be higher on a 2007, considering I've trapped 80mph in less than perfect conditions and I'm also in FL.

Veetec got 83 on his good run. He's getting ~ 3mph more out of the 1/8th. I dunno if the trap speed at gainesville reads low (doubtful, I ran a week ago and they'd just reconnected and re-calibrated the timing system) or if its something with how I'm driving or what, but my times (1/8th mile) are the fastest I've seen for stock, I'm getting beat in the back half (because of the trap speed). I think that all comes down to me seeing ~70 degree weather and others seeing 35-45 degree weather.

I hear ya man, that 70degree weather blows. I can't even touch the top of my engine for more than 2 seconds after running a few times, burning hot.

What were your intervals? I have been in the 8.55-8.60 (ideally I would like to get into the 8.35-8.40 area) range this fall in the 1/8 with traps b/w 83-84mph.

You don't need to do a burnout on street tires.........just give a quick spin to get the water and debris off. You have to pull the brake light fuse to do a "real" burnout in our cars.
