9.0's correlate to a 13 second pass..
I don't know why some of you guys waste your time on street tires.
Bottom line, there is more than 1 thing you need to make a car go quickly down the drag strip.

Do you have Brembos? If not, you can get a set of Z32 TT rears that are 16x8.5 which fit a few of the MT ET Street (26X10.50-16 or 26X11.50-16) or MT ET Street Radial tires. I believe the FD RX7 wheels fit the rear non-Brembo as well. Otherwise pick up any set of beat 17" wheels with 8.5" - 9.5" diameter. I now guys that run 10s on the MT ET Street Radial sized 255/50/16, but if you wanted to grab a 17x9 or 17x9.5, you could go with the 275/40/17 or 295/45/17 ET Street Radial, respectively.
I have rear Z32tt wheels that have been sitting around for quite a while. They won't actually fit over the Brembos, unless you modify them a little. There are small casting ridges on the insides of the barrel that will barely brush the caliper. I've been planning on taking a drement and grinding them back very slightly so they will clear.

I went 12.20's(395rwhp, s/ced) on street tires Trevor. It's all in the launch. You can't just go out there and floor it.
Work on that launch man it's killing you. You should be trapping more than 86mph in the 1/8 also.
