Some new Personal Bests from MRC.
Last week we went ot the track for the first time this season and pulled some pretty good numbers on the newer set up.
We were running a set of BFG drag radials in the rear, size 315/35/17".
We cut some pretty bad 60fts and had to get in and out of it several times. All of our 60fts were 2.4-2.1 and our times averaged from 11.9-11.2 with 129-130 traps.
We went a new personal best of 11.2@130 with a 2.10 60 ft.. We just can not hook up until 3rd gear, but once we do its a wild ride from there on out.
We just ordered a set of slicks and 17" front runner tires, to fit over the OEM Spare rim out of a car equipped with brembos, which is a 17"x4" steel wheel..
And it clears most BBK's..Whooopie!!!

IIRC there are a few "old school" tips for getting the weight transfer to happen a little better. One way I recall is disconnecting the front sway bar. Maybe that would help the 60' times. G/L
