This may be a stupid question, but were you guys going into 5th or 6th on the last video. Better question are you guys still using the 3.5 gears?

9.9 is crazy!!! The reason that I ask is on the end of one of the runs I thought I heard the rev limiter being hit. Crazy driving, simply nuts, congrats guys.

Still on the 3.5 gears but a 28" tire helps along with a 8900 rev limiter!!

Only 4 gears used.

I LOVE IT!!!! Nasty fast traps. Sounds like the 1-2 shift could be cleaner, but I know things happen incredibly fast there. Great job, tons of respect to you guys and keep up the good work!!!!

If they can rev out to 9500 its not far out of the realm of possibility with the boost all the way up. (don't really want to shift into 6th if you can help it) (as far as power and gearing go)

Babysteps will be the key though.....gotta be safe at those speeds.

Z has a little better Cd than the supra.

Put the pro-efi traction control to the test on a street tire.

Very nice. Pretty awesome that you got in the 9's, and you still have some things to work out. Does seem like the 1-2 shift could be cleaner. On the 9 sec run, it looks pretty good.

Thanks guys, as for shifting, well I was short shifting and peddling some due to the lack of traction, it was 40degrees or so out but yes I'm still getting used to the gearing a bit and getting her out of the hole.

I plan on doing mile events next year with this. TX mile may infact be on the agenda. I think we will be lower on power than SW's supra but I think we could be in the 22x range no problem.

After pining over the datalogs we found out the car was PIG rich due to some changes we made on fuel pressure etc.. So most passes were done in the 10's for AF lol, we were obviously leaving a bit of HP on the table. That 152 would most likely have been a 156-157 at the same psi. Also what you're hearing in the vid does sound like rev limiter, but it's infact breaking up REALLY bad lol.

I think if we turn up the boost we could see 160mph trap

I may be going to the track again this weekend. i'll keep everyone posted.

Thanks again everyone for the support!

Chris
