Default .7160 60 Ft in my Z!!?!?

I went to the drag strip today for the first time in about 2 months. My best run to date is 11.8 @ 123 which was with my stock Open diff. I installed a VLSD over the weekend and decided to go to the track and see if i could improve on my 60. ft. This was one of my runs.

.7160 60 ft
7.1750 1/8 @ 93.44
11.4128 1/4 @ 112.20

Notice My Trap speeds we ver low. had I Headed towards the wall at the start and let out quite a bit so it was a **** run. I was runing 11 PSI in my Drag Radials. Anyone ever had this happen with the such a Low Unrealistic 60 ft? Maybe my back tires triggered the sensor?

Impossible, dragsters dont even 60 foot that fast. The record for a 60 foot in a top fuel dragster is .853. Something on the track must have been wrong.

not that i take anything away from the quarter, thats a stout time, though you do have a very fast car.

I have the coolest time slip. It says I ran 8.8!!! Of course, it was a problem with the sensors, but the guy at the staging lane gave me ****. He told me I had to leave b/c she saw me run too fast. I was like, WTH (I didn't look at my slips until the end of that night). He said he saw me run 8 seconds and I was like, yeah right. He said he was joking, the sensor was messed up. I still have the slip though!

I'd say your entire run is botched. None of the numbers make sense compared to your last times, even with the changes. Did you only make one run? I'd go back for more - always need to back it up anyway.

yea just a timing error. happends a lot. Could be something as simple as a leaf blowing threw the lights.

But 11psi sounds pretty low for drag radials...most say don't go lower than 12psi....what radials you running?

Yeah 11 was to low i made only 3 runs befor a corvette zo6 Blew its rear end rofl. My bets run was a 11.8xx with a 1.9 60 ft @ 122 Mph. Im not happy with my 60 ft at all.. i lowered the tire presser for the last two runs becaues y 60 ft still wasnt where i thought it should be.. ( i was running 1.98 with Open diff) IM running Gforce TA drag radials Not sure the size ill check when i get home. But my 2nd run ( on 11 PSI Tire) it got squirly and went towards the wall. and my last run was that crazy ******** with a .7 60 ft rofl. But yeah im defently going back i wanted to get alot more than 3 runs in but it was PACKED and they closed at 5 so i didnt get any runs in at all. ( got there at 2:30) But ill defently go back when i get the chance.. probly be awile since my fiancee is due with our child in 6 days. kinda why im upset i reallly wanted to get a good 60 ft and break into mid to low 11's befor she came but ill just have to do it later i supose=-P
