Default A few track videos

Decided this forum has been a little boring lately so here are a few vids of my runs at the track. I know I'm not the fastest but hey who cares. The night videos is my first time at the track with my torque convertor.

Definatly my best burnout to date.

My mods are 1/2 MD spacer, Strup test pipes, stock airbox w/removed air filter, X02 exhaust, edge racing 3000 stall torque convertor. Also let me know if those youtube vids work or not.

Good job....your RT looked dead on. When you raced the supra and left him at the tree, that's normal for a supra. Plus the supra was slow or the driver sucked.. In your good burnout vid,did you do it in manual mode or full auto. Also when going down the track are you shifting or in full auto. Are you pulling the brake fuse?

Anyways good job and thanks for posting.

Yeah I think the supra messed up bad that run. The event 2 days later he was running 11's. I always do my burnouts in manual mode and keep it in 1. I held it at about 6400 the whole time and yes I had to pull the brake fuse. The tires wont spin that fast with it in. Also I never race in ful auto mode. I've done back to back comparisons shifting and not shifting and I was exactly 4 tenths and 2-3mph slower.

Yeah I know but in that class swaps werent allowed. So I was a very shocked that he was running so fast. I only know of one stock motor civic in my area that runs low 13's and he's always running in my class. So I think he either had a swap or was spraying. It would have been easy getting through tech since they dont know anything anyway.

What 60ft's you pulling with the new TQ conv?

Good vids, you remind me of my younger self when I would spend every Friday/Sunday @ Crapitols test n' tunes trying to better my times. Literally every T&T for 1 year straight-went through 3 transmissions in my old car that summer!

Really not as good as I would like. My best so far was a 1.91 and that was on my 13.4 run. Its mostly been in the 1.96-1.94 range. I know I've been heating the DR's up real good so I dont know what else I can do to get 1.8's. Maybe once I'm tuned it will be easier.

Yeah I'm a track junkie. If Im not there with my Z Im there with my max. But I'll probably be taking a break until september or so. No point in running in this heat anymore.

I felt a good gain in off idle TQ with a crank pulley NA. I never had an issue with it NA or ST either, dont let the horror stories fool you. Could be something cheap that could help you get off that converter quicker...and TUNE it!!! Higher redline with you revving to it in 1st and 2nd will be awesome for you.

Yeah a few people told me that I should get one but I just wasnt sure if it actually worked or not. I hate buying mods then wish I didnt. I havent done much research on it but I will. And yeah tuning will hopefully be happening soon. Things just seem to keep coming up when Im ready to get it done.
